Our Story
Our son Lion was diagnosed with leukemia at 7 months old. It was a total shock. We really had no idea what we were in for. He was given a 47% chance of surviving based on the statistics, though we were determined not to be a statistic. He was immediately placed on a 2 year chemo therapy treatment plan, where he would receive chemo multiple times a day for almost 800 days in a row.

We lived full time in the hospital with him for over 6 months.
Against all odds he survived.
Music played a critical role in Lion’s survival. We would constantly listen to positive music while in the hospital that would boost our faith and spirits. We always had a guitar in the hospital room we would play and write songs on and during this time Little Lion developed a huge passion for music.
Lion always had a couple drums, a keyboard or a guitar to keep him busy in the hospital.
Now that he’s home and chemo free, Music has become a massive part of his life and future.
These children have gone through treatment have incredible perspectives on life. They have had to fight battles not many can relate to. We believe their stories need to be told and their voices need to be heard through the gift of music.
